    Phoenix Critics Circle Announces 2020 Award Winners

    Lee Isaac Chung's MINARI wins the 2020 Phoenix Critics Circle Award for Best Picture

    The Phoenix Critics Circle are pleased to announce the recipients of their 2020 awards. After leading the way with seven nominations, Lee Isaac Chung’s Minari picked up the award for Best Picture and Best Foreign Language Film, marking the second year in a row that both awards went to the same film (after 2019‘s Parasite). Yuh-Jung Youn also received the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the film.

    Judas And The Black Messiah‘s Daniel Kaluuya was awarded Best Supporting Actor, while Best Actor went to Chadwick Boseman for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Carey Mulligan snagged the Best Actress award for Promising Young Woman.
